VeloFit indoor cycling sessions are not just another cardio workout, they’re an experience! VeloFit goes beyond other group “spin classes” by providing the atmosphere in which you are guided through an audio & visual ride that is designed to embrace your individual strengths and talents. From the engaging instructors, to the rhythmic musical vibes, and of course the funky lighting effects, there’s never a dull moment during the experience.
The Studio: a conveniently located 2000sqft studio unit, with 17 brand new Schwinn IC Pro spin bikes, tidy change rooms, fluids & fuel provided from Thrive On Live, with tonnes of parking.

If Tim is not riding some form of a bicycle, then he is fixing or building one. He has been passionately involved in indoor cycling, mountain biking, cyclocross, triathlon, Ironman and marathon since 2007. A life as a dynamic cyclist and bike enthusiast has led him to a Schwinn Canada Indoor Cycling Instructor Certification as well as a Professional Bicycle Mechanic Certificate from Winterbourne Bicycle Institute.
Tim’s early athletic roots began in the martial arts at the age of 12 and has led him to black belts in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo which were obtained during years living abroad in Sapporo, Japan. These athletic endeavours led him to a 3 year title as northern Japan Shoot Fighting Champion and an invite into the North American full contact fighting circuit. Tim was then commissioned to provide personal training and corner man services for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in 2003. He worked for 3 years alongside UFC fighter Carlos Newton, helping him on his journey to become the first Canadian Welterweight UFC Champion ever.
From a young age, Mitchell has been passionate about the world of bicycles. In the beginning it was bmx and mountain bike free-riding. Later in life, his goals became more fitness and adventure oriented, and he began to explore new disciplines of the sport. In addition to single-track mountain biking and fixed gear road riding, Mitchell also enjoys bike touring and his favorite trip was a 700km adventure around Bruce county. When he’s not out riding, he can be found with grease-covered hands, restoring vintage road bikes and tuning his own fleet.
Mitchell is certified as a NCSF personal trainer, Agatsu kettle bell instructor, and a Schwin indoor cycling instructor. He loves to challenge himself, and in addition to cycling, he enjoys paddleboard surfing and is an avid paddleboard racer; placing second overall in the open division in the 2015 Ontario paddleboard race circuit. In the winter months he stays active by cross country skiing and snowshoeing, as well as indoor training. Through passion and positivity, Mitchell hopes to pass on his own knowledge and experience to help others achieve their fitness goals at Velofit.

A VeloFit ride delivers indoor cycling theory, workout structure, real-time guidance and an entertaining and personal experience. All you have to do is attend, saddle up and enjoy!
VeloFit rides are dynamic, vary in length, with most averaging 45mins each include a warm-up, the body, and finally a cool down.
This proven approach in preparing & delivering our VeloFit rides ensures that riders of any ability can cycle together, side-by-side, and receive the same workout experience.

Expect to be in the saddle for a condensed version of our signature rides, immediately followed by muscular strength, balance, and endurance training.
Kettle bells, medicine balls and body weight exercises will provide you both functional and sport specific fitness.
Strengthen & tone your arms, legs, and core over 40-45mins using calisthenics, bands, medicine balls, suspension training (TRX) and more in these high intensity and dynamic guided group workouts!
Increase your overall strength, power, and functional fitness through a 40-45min guided group Kettlebell specific workout!
